The SMART Fully Funded Scholarship 2024 in the USA is now open for international students who wish to study abroad. Applications are welcome from candidates worldwide who want to pursue an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD degree in the USA. The scholarship covers all major subjects and specializations, including Social Sciences, Arts, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Biosciences, Operations Research, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Management, and Development.

The need-based SMART Scholarship for International Students is available to high-achieving students enrolled in or accepted by an accredited university in the United States. This scholarship covers all costs for four years of undergraduate study, including tuition, books, and living expenses. To qualify, students must be foreign citizens with a high school diploma or equivalent, show financial need, and be enrolled in or accepted by an accredited U.S. university. The Department of Defense will also provide career resources to STEM students participating in the SMART program.

The Ministry of Education offers scholarships for students to study STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects. Recipients agree to work for the Department of Defense each year. There are no academic restrictions. Seasonal internships provide students with job experience and prepare them for full-time positions in the Ministry of Defense. Both the academic and career parts of the program are supported by the Department of Defense (DoD). GRE scores are not required for acceptance into U.S. universities. Application Requirements:

  • Until August 1, 2023, you must be at least 18 years old and a citizen of one of the following countries:
    • the United States,
    • Australia, Canada,
    • New Zealand, or
    • England.
  • You must submit an application for financing for at least a year before you graduate.
  • Take a summer internship, you have to (for multi-year scientists only)
  • Technical undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the 21 STEM disciplines listed here,
  • A pupil with a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
  • Possess a degree from a US institution or institution, or be able to authenticate a college copy from a US college or university that was authorized in the fall of 2022.
